Garrett Riley
About
A member of the firm’s litigation team, Garrett primarily focuses on representing clients through all phases and aspects of their personal injury cases. In 2020 alone, Garrett facilitated the recovery of over $8.5 million for injured clients.
Garrett’s extensive courtroom and litigation experience, combined with his former position as an adjuster at a major auto insurance company, make him a natural fit for the firm’s civil litigation team. In that capacity, Garrett represents clients injured by the negligent acts of others in auto, slip and fall, work-related injuries, and wrongful death cases. He is also a manager of the firm’s pre-suit division.
Garrett graduated from Florida State University, majoring in criminal justice, and obtained his law degree from Stetson University College of Law. Following law school, Garrett accepted a position as an Assistant State Attorney at the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s office. While there, Garrett gained invaluable trial experience as criminal prosecutor. Garrett then went on to practice family law for several years, gaining additional litigation and practical experience.
Born and raised in Miami, Garrett has lived in Florida his entire life. Garrett was named a Super Lawyers ‘Rising Star’ in 2013, 2016-2020 and 2021. Garrett attributes his success in the law to continuous legal research and education, and providing honest and quality customer service to his clients.
