Law enforcement officers have utilized dash cameras for years now, but a growing number of the general public has started adding these devices to their personal vehicles.
Some people, like Tampa Bay resident Mike Dwyer have already found use for their dash cams. In Dwyer’s case, it provided an additional eyewitness account of a near-miss with a bus.
“The video was amazing. This big truck was turning,” he said. ‘[The] guy behind thought he had the light and blew through and missed my wife by feet. It was so close!”
Lawyers like Robert Sparks Attorneys Robert Sparks are also very much in favor of these types of devices since they can provide key evidence in their cases.
“Certainly real-time video is the best time evidence that any attorney could have,” he said.
