Our firm recently handled two high conflict divorce cases. In both cases, the parents were completely unable to get along, could not discuss matters involving their children in a civil manner, and were completely at odds regarding custody and timesharing with the children. Both cases seemed destined for an expensive and bitter trial. However, in both cases, the parties and attorneys agreed to have the parties employ the services of a Parenting Coordinator to try to work out the issues in advance of trial. In both cases the parties were able to resolve their differences and reach an agreement before trial on the parenting issues. If you are having co-parenting issues, contact one of our attorneys to discuss the benefits of employing a Parenting Coordinator in your family law case.
